Fox School Awards
The information below is for the 2008 Fox School awards. The 2009 awards information will be updated in February 2009.
The faculty of the Fox School of Business and Management is involved in evaluating and recommending recipients for a large number of student awards and scholarships.
Graduate and Undergraduate students who wish to apply for these awards and scholarships should complete an application on this page and Blackboard on the Fox Undergraduate Advising Community .
Each applicant must demonstrate why he/she is qualified for a particular award, based on the stated criteria. For all awards and scholarships, attach a one-page essay that explains why you feel you are qualified for the award. (No one in the Advising Office is on the Selection Committee. We do not know what the Committee considers an award winning essay.) All students who apply for awards that ask for demonstration of financial need must complete the student information on the “Financial Data Form” and submit it to the Center for Undergraduate Advising, Speakman Hall, room 101. It will be forwarded to Student Financial Services for review. SFS will supply us with the information necessary for the Committee to choose the awardees.
The Awards Ceremony will be on May 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. If you are the recipient of an award, it will be required that you attend the ceremony. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Joan Overby at 215-204-4558.
NOTE: Outstanding academic achievement is defined as a 3.5 G.P.A., or better, if not otherwise stated.
Financial Aid Warning: Receipt of the following awards and scholarships might impact on your Financial Aid.
Please contact Student Financial Services in Carnell Hall with any questions.
The application deadline is Friday, March 30, 2007. A separate application with a current transcript or a copy of a current transcript must be submitted for each award. (If you print your transcript/grades on OWLnet, please make sure that your name is printed on the document. We will not accept transcripts that have the name hand printed on it.)
