Graduation Information

Business Administration 4196 (W361)

  • This course is restricted to final semester graduating seniors who have been approved to graduate through the graduation application process.
  • Students cannot self-register for this course.
  • Approved graduating seniors are expected to reserve seats in this course through the Fox On-line Reservation System.
  • Students in the Honors Program will register for Business Administration 4996 (H391) in the Honors Program Office in Speakman Hall 106.

Graduation Application Process

  • All Fox School students must file a graduation application with their advising office prior to registration for their final semester.
  • Academic advisors complete a graduation review: courses completed to date, those in progress, and those still needed to graduate.
  • A list of the “Courses Remaining for Graduation” is sent to students’ Temple e-mail accounts.Students should retain a copy of this document and are expected to complete the course requirements as listed.

Graduation Applications

Graduation applications are in Adobe PDF format and Adobe Reader is required to open the document. Install free Adobe Reader.

August 2008 and January 2009 applications will be available Wednesday, February 6. (Deadline: Friday, February 15, 2008)

Effective for May 2009 graduates, a university-wide graduation application will be available in mid -September. Application deadlines will be announced when available.

Business Administration 4196 On-line Reservation System

  • System availability:
    • August graduates: Monday, February 18 at 3 PM through Thursday, March 13 at 10 PM
    • January graduates: Monday, February 25 at 3 PM through Thursday, March 20 at 10 PM
  • Eligible students are expected to reserve a seat in BA 4196 using this system (this is NOT OWLnet)
  • Section changes can be made in the reservation system based on course availability until the system closes
  • Check the Temple on-line schedule (use links in the reservation system) to avoid time conflicts
  • BA 4196 reservations will be added to OWLnet on the student's eligible to register date for summer or fall UNLESS HOLDS that prevent registration are posted
    • Reserved seats will be released if the registration in OWLnet cannot be processed due to HOLDS
    • Students should check OWLnet after 9 AM on their eligible to register date to verify that the reservation has been converted to a registration.
  • BA 4196 reservations will be cancelled for students determined not eligible to graduate.

Academic Overloads

Students who want to register for more than 18 credits in the fall or spring semesters or more than 8 credits in one summer session must have an academic overload petition (pdf file) approved by their academic advisor PRIOR to their registration start date. Allow 5 days for consideration.
