The American Business School Paris, Institut de Gestion Sociale

The American Business School (ABS) was established in 1985, and is one of the first English-speaking business schools in France modeled on American undergraduate business education. In 1995, ABS joined the Institut de Gestion Sociale (IGS). IGS University and its associated schools are among the top-ranked private educational institutions in France. Since its inception, the American Business School has attracted students from around the world and has evolved from a uniquely Franco-American vision to a completely global approach to business education. Today, the American Business School has over 700 alumni working in over 22 countries in marketing, finance, import/export and sales positions. ABS offers the opportunity to learn French language and culture and take business courses in English with local European students. Located in the heart of Paris's 10th district, ABS is within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, museums and historic monuments. The school is also convenient to the extensive Paris metro system.

Centre d'Etudes Franco-Americain de Management (CEFAM)
Part
of the Institut de Gestion Sociale (IGS), CEFAM is an undergraduate level,
private business school with a long standing relationship with the Fox
School of Business and Management. Located in France's second largest
city, Lyon, CEFAM has built its reputation on high academic standards
as well as on the European and American perspective it offers to students. CEFAM
is comprehensive in nature, permitting students to take classes in a
variety of business as well as non-business topics. Classes are taught
in English by CEFAM professors with advanced degrees and wide experience
in their areas of expertise. As a fundamentally American institution,
CEFAM students benefit from the quality of an American business education
in an international setting.
Mexico City, Mexico
Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM)
Founded
in 1946 by the Asociación Mexicana de Cultura under the leadership
of the distinguished industrialist, Mr. Raúl Bailleres and located
in Mexico City, ITAM is one of the top-ranked private business schools
in Mexico and Latin America, and is one of the only two schools in Mexico
accredited by AACSB International. ITAM offers classes in strategic
management, finance, actuarial science, accounting, MIS, and economics.
Students can study at ITAM in either Fall Semester (early August to late
December) or Spring Semester (mid-January to the end of May). Classes
are taught in Spanish by ITAM faculty, a majority of who have obtained
PhDs and teaching experience at U.S. institutions.
Tokyo, Japan
Temple University Japan (TUJ)
The
Temple University Japan study abroad program offers U.S. undergraduates
the opportunity to study in Tokyo for a semester, summer, or full academic
year alongside bilingual Japanese and other international students. The
academic program is comprised of an extensive liberal arts curriculum
that includes Japanese language instruction and upper-level courses in
American Studies, art, art history, Asian Studies, communications, economics,
history, international relations, political science, psychological studies,
religion, and sociology. Starting in Fall 2010, only lower level business courses will transfer for credit so this program is ideal for sophomores. Here are a few of the many offered: IB/GSM 2501: Fundamentals
of Asian Business, Mktg 2101: Marketing Management; Econ 1101: Macroeconomic Principles; Econ 1102: Microeconomic Principles; Acct 2101: Financial Accounting and Acct 2102: Managerial Accounting. Students pursuing the Asian Business and Society Certificate
will be able to complete required coursework at TUJ. Internships are
available to students with conversational to advanced Japanese language
skills.

Temple University Rome (TUR)
Established
in 1992, the International Business Program at Temple University's Rome
campus provides undergraduate students a unique opportunity to study
international trade, marketing and business practices from a global perspective.
Students will investigate aspects of the international marketplace such
as the environment of multinational corporations, marketing in the European
Community, and international finance. Course work, guest speakers, field
trips and personal experiences help them understand the European cultural
and business environment and how it compares and contrasts with their
own. TUR offers summer, single semester, and full-year programs in international
business. Fox School of Business and Management and TUR faculty teach
classes in English.

University
College Dublin (UCD) dates its origin from the foundation in 1851 of
the Catholic University of Ireland. Today, it is Ireland's largest university
with 22,000 students and 2,500 academic staff. More than 2,000 international
students from 80 different countries are currently studying at UCD and
are welcomed for the valuable international dimension that they add to
campus life. The Quinn School of Business, UCD, is the only business

Destination Middle East is a short term study abroad opportunity, open to graduate students, over winter break. Optional 3 credit special topics course/independent study can be paired with the trip and counted as an elective course towards your MBA or MS* degree. This program combines academic, corporate, and cultural experiences in Turkey, Israel, and Jordan.
