John Featherstone leverages his 12 years of experience within the public safety and law enforcement arena, to develop strategic business opportunities within the Federal, Local and State law enforcement sectors. Prior to Voyager, he served as Vice President General Manager for DynCorp DMR Western Region, a privately owned $1.9 billion company specializing in technology for government. In this capacity he managed the sales and marketing functions for the state and local public safety markets within the western half of the United States. He previously worked for TRW Public Sector Solutions as the Director of Marketing/Sales for public safety.
Mr. Featherstone also served as a United States Naval Cryptologic Officer and was commanding Officer of NSGA Pearl Harbor from 1986-1989. Mr. Featherstone received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a Modern Language minor from The Citadel, and his Masters of Arts degree in International Affairs from University of Southern California, London, England campus. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Defense Language School in Russian, and holds a Navy Electronic Warfare Sub-specialty.
