Temple University Investment Association
The Temple University Investment Association (TUIA) strives to provide its members with hands on investment management experience. The TUIA is also a feeder program for the William C. Dunkelberg Owl Fund (The Owl Fund). Its members use financial data tools and software such as Bloomberg Professional to conduct company research and valuation that is then used to create research reports that are presented to other members of the organization. Each semester, the Managing Director of the Owl Fund, Professor Jonathan Scott, and senior members of the TUIA offer educational modules to help new members learn the basics of investing. In addition, speakers from throughout the area discuss investment issues and current conditions at TUIA meetings. The TUIA also organizes social activities to create a unique networking environment for students.
