About Us
The mission of the Department of Management Information Systems (MIS) is to focus on research and teaching related to the development, implementation, management, and impact of information systems.
We will educate a forward thinking worker that can ethically implement, direct, and research leading edge business applications of information technology. Our research focused on strategic and critical applications of information systems is based on rigorous, integrative, and multi-method behavioral and technical research approaches.
Our approach to teaching is theoretically informed, hands on, project-based, and concentrates on the organizational application and development of network-centric emerging information technologies.
