The main learning goals for students in the EMBA-Cali program will be:
1. To value how globalization, information technology and entrepreneurship affect management practices and strategies.
2. To address company challenges in diverse areas (human resources, finance, distribution and/or management process design) and in diverse development stages (from creation to disappearance), by developing an expertise to recognize, analyze, and solve those business problems.
3. To generate, adapt, and apply tools that facilitate management in all fields. To lead, work, and communicate effectively with corporate teams.
4. To stay apprised of current management trends.
5. To create business opportunities that lead to the start of new organizations and/or strengthen existing ones.
6. To use research methodology to understand the behavior of entrepreneurs as well as surrounding companies and environments.
7. To act with ethics and social responsibility and make life-long commitment to human dignity, the regulation of corporate acts, the environment, multiculturalism, society, the fight against corruption and the less-favored.
