What is the structure of the Fox MBA Program? How long does it take to complete? When does it start?

The MBA program is a total of 54 credit hours, consisting of core courses, Advanced Managerial Perspectives courses, concentration courses, two Business Electives, and the Capstone Course - Enterprise Management Consulting. This is a two-year, full-time MBA program that begins in the fall semester.

Can I start in January?

We do not offer admission in January. Our program begins in the fall.

What teaching methods are used in the Fox MBA Program?

The Fox School has incorporated a dynamic, integrated curriculum utilizing cases rooted in real-world business problems. Our Top research faculty coupled with small class sizes and a cutting edge curriculum give students a strategic perspective that is necessary to succeed in today’s business world. Our faculty determines the teaching method that they believe will be the most effective learning environment. Most of the faculty use a combination of lectures, discussions, case studies, group projects and simulations.

Does Fox offer a 1-year, part-time, evening, or distance-learning MBA?

In addition to the Fox MBA (full-time) the Fox School has a Professional MBA (part-time), Executive MBA (full-time), International MBA (1-year full-time), Specialized Masters, and a PhD program. Is the admission process the same for full-time and part-time programs?

The admissions requirements are the same for both programs. However, Application Deadlines vary.

Can I waive any of my Foundation courses?

No. Foundation or Core course waivers are not offered for the Fox MBA or Professional MBA.

Can I take courses at Fox without being an admitted student?

You must be an admitted student to take courses in the Fox MBA.

At which campuses are MBA courses offered?

Full-time students take their classes at the Fox School's Graduate Business Center at Temple University's Center City Campus (TUCC) which is located in the heart of Philadelphia's business district, adjacent to top companies such as ARAMARK, GlaxoSmithKline, CIGNA, Comcast… A broad range of electives which meet most students scheduling needs are offered at our Center City Campus, however, occasionally students take elective courses at our suburban Fort Washington Campus, Ambler Campus, or at the University's Main Campus. Joint Programs

What is the application procedure for Fox’s dual-degree programs? May I apply to the joint MD/MBA Program if I am in the second year of the MD?

Students must apply to both programs independently, with each having a different standardized test that the student must take, and the student must be admitted by both programs. You may apply to the joint MD/MBA program if you are in your second year of the MD.
