Technology
We require that all students in the Full Time MBA Program have a laptop computer. We strongly suggest that students do not use a MAC laptop because the Fox MBA program uses PC software. The nature of the MBA program requires significant mobility, with group work, some late-nights and weekends, and periodic off-site project work. It becomes very cumbersome to migrate a desktop across borders. For this reason, we place a very strong recommendation for students to have a laptop computer.
Temple University and its partner institutions have wireless internet access (802.11b).

AccessNet Account Information
Temple offers all current students, faculty, and staff an AccessNet account. This account is a set of permissions enabling you to use various technology resources at Temple.
To access Temple's technology resources, you will use your AccessNet username and password. These resources include TUportal--where you can access TUmail, Self-Service Banner (SSB), Blackboard, OWLnet, and the Cherry & White Pages update page--Temple's central systems, the computer labs, and the online library databases. Details about these resources are included below.
You can obtain your AccessNet username and password by going to the AccessNet Account Activation Web site at http://accounts.temple.edu and following the online instructions, by clicking on the lower right-hand side "activate my AccessNet account." As part of the application process you should have received a nine-digit TUid number. You will need to enter your nine-digit TUid number in order to complet the AccessNet account activiation. If you are expereincing any problems please contact computer services at 215-204-8000.
It is important that you create your Temple Email Account as soon as you receive your AccessNet Information. That is the only email address Temple will to use to send billing information, Program and University correspondence.
