Special programs

The Fox School Honors Program combines the personal attention one expects from a small private college with the diverse offering and cutting edge technology one expects from a major research university.

Students work in small seminar-style classes with faculty who combine scholarship with a love of teaching. These small classes allow for in-depth exploration of topics in accounting, marketing, finance, economics, law and management to name a few. Studying with fellow honors students challenges each individual to stretch their capabilities. Honors classes give the students the ability to be involved in a discussion based classroom rather than the traditional lecture style.

The Fox School Honors Program offers two special programs to students who have been admitted to Honors.

The TempleLaw Scholars Program offers students a conditional guarantee of admission to Temple’s prestigious Beasley School of Law. Students major in Legal Studies and receive special mentoring from the Legal Studies faculty and law students.  Applicants are submitted prior to starting Freshman year.

The Alter Research Scholars Program allows select students to spend two years working on research with a member of the Fox School faculty. The experience culminates in an independent senior thesis.  Applicants are accepted prior to starting Junior year.
