Economic Development
The SBDC has a primary objective to contribute to the economic development of its service area and assist the University to meet not only its academic mission, but also its outreach mission. The SBDC is uniquely positioned to meet the challenges of providing support services to the small business community of Philadelphia and has engaged in several economic development projects with community-based partners. The SBDC aslo provides consulting to community based organizations that provide economic development services.
Temple SBDC's resource partners include area community groups, city, state, public, and quasi-public agencies, all with a common goal to enhance the quality of life for people in the Philadelphia region.
