In recognition of the Temple SBDC’s 20 year commitment to local economic development and continuous service to local entrepreneurs and small business owners in the Philadelphia and surrounding area, in 2003 the Center was awarded three proclamations by Federal, State and Local officials. U.S. Representative Chaka Fattah, State Senator Shirley M. Kitchen and Philadelphia City Councilperson Blondell Reynolds Brown presented the Temple SBDC with the proclamations, congratulating the Center on 20 years of continuous service and recognizing the Temple SBDC as “an integral facet of the community” and “a wonderful organization…enriched by its staff members and their commitment” respectively.
