Diana Breslin-Knudsen
Associate Dean
Diana Breslin Knudsen, associate dean of The Fox School of Business has been a part of the Temple University family for more than 32 years.
In her current position, she serves as CFO and human resources administrator, managing The Fox School's annual budget, as well as supervising a portfolio that includes all undergraduate offices including Enrollment Management, Center for Academic Advising, Center for Student Professional Development, in addition to the Fox and STHM Strategic Marketing and Communication Office and the Assessment Office for all Fox Programs. She has recently taken on the supervision of Fox Computer Services.
During her 20 years in the Fox School, she has implemented many innovations that have improved operations and programs in the Fox School. She has provided strong administrative leadership in two major undergraduate curriculum revisions and was key in taking the revitalized programs through the approval process. She has provided leadership in the ranking initiatives and chairs the committee that meets weekly to work on branding strategies for the Fox School. She was instrumental in providing strategic direction to the start-up operations of the Center for Student Professional Development, Enrollment Management, and the Communications and Strategic Marketing offices that all began with one staff member and have flourished into major operations within the School. Just recently she worked closely with Senior Assistant Dean Debbie Campbell to start a new Business Communications Center in the Fox School.
She has also helped revitalize and enhance many Fox School student programs during her career, including, the Business Honors Program, student professional organizations, and the student governing body, The Fox School College Council.
She has also been a driving force behind the Fox School’s new building initiative and worked hand and glove with the dean during the ten year process that resulted in the decision to build Alter Hall. She co-chaired the Alter Hall committee and provided important input into the design and configuration of the new building and its connectedness to Speakman Hall.
Because of her record of service to The Fox School and Temple University, Diana Breslin Knudsen was presented with the Musser Excellence in Administrative Service Award in 2000. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in labor studies and a Masters of Public Administration from Temple University.
