Jobs I have had in my lifetime...

  • First Mate (later Skipper) on a commercial fishing boat, staff accountant, professional photographer, general manager of a large retail organization, partner/principal in small private accounting firm, and, oh yeah, accounting professor

Movie I can watch over and over...

  • Bridge on the River Kwai, Longest Day, Das Boot

Places I have lived...

  • Huntingdon Valley, PA; Rock Hall, MD; Glendora, NJ; Camden, NJ; Philadelphia, PA

Favorite sports teams...

  • Ravens, Orioles, Sixers, and anybody who is playing a Pittsburgh team

Favorite TV shows...

  • Simpsons, Family Guy

Foreign places I have traveled to...

  • Most of the Caribbean - I'm not much for long boat rides unless I can be at the helm (and I hate to fly - every part of that airplane was built by the lowest bidder)

Websites I visit daily...

  • Interactive Tide Charts, NOAA Weather, Philadelphia Inquirer

Favorite foods...

  • Pizza, Coors Lite (isn't that a food group?), Sushi, REAL Maryland Crab Cakes

Favorite Philly restaurants...

  • Tony's, Kawabata

Favorite things to do outside of work...

  • Fish, shoot skeet, trap, sporting clays, and hunt. I also walk my dogs Snowball and Maggie (think Simpsons) for several miles everyday - it is my favorite part of the day.

Coolest thing I've ever done...

  • I'm an accountant - by definition, I've never done anything cool.

If I could eat dinner with one person, it would be...

  • Ernest Hemingway

Favorite flavor of ice cream...

  • Uh, they don't make Coors flavored ice cream

Favorite toy as a child...

  • My Davy Crocket coon skin cap. It had a tail down the back and was way cool - I am so bloody old that it could have been the one Davy wore.

Book (not textbook!) I am currently reading...

  • I usually read two or three books at a time; right now I am reading "The Tipping Point" and "The Black Dahlia."
